There's actually a public discussion going on today debating whether or not to continue 98.9's Rockfest at the Liberty Memorial. It's one day out of 365, yeah it rained and the grass was destroyed but the station paid for all damages and repairs. Call me crazy, but I think grass grows back. Whatever, it's a gorgeous location but I say take away the money from the city for pulling out the DoucheCard on this lame situation. Look what happened after Freaker's Ball back in 2003.
Freaker's Ball went from being held at a racing speedway to a baseball stadium and last year to the Midland. Killed the event. Either that or just shitty bands. Your call.
