Last Sunday I had a GPU upgrade in preparations for all the new* COD FPS's clones coming out later this year. Everything went smooth like butta, got HOMEFRONT, bitchen....got back into MASS EFFECT....shit's amazing. Then outta the blue my comp shut the fuck down in the middle of an intense battle in Homefront. WTF?!?

While waiting for the boot-up I picked out some rad new tunes for Rock Band. It's amazing the amount of $$$ I've spent on songs. Man I hate DLC with a passion.

...anyways so I get it going, switch over to Mass Effect. Half hour into it, during an amazing cut scene with the Reaper Sovereign, the damn thing shuts off again. Ok, now I'm worried.

Today I went to Radio Shack and picked up some Artic Silver 5.

Removed my heat-sink and to no ones surprise the old thermal compound had long dried out and was easy to scrape off.

After some man handling trying to get the heat-sink back on properly, I was ready to see some difference in temperatures.

I must of had ten people open my door clearing marked 'employees only' thinking it was a stashed away bathroom before I got fed up with it and made this sign. A lot more families then in recent years coming out, which I found refreshing. Years past of flashers, vomiters, and public urinators will be missed but not soon forgotten. :( Maybe I just get off work earlier. Eh.

Well we did have a shoplifter get arrested and I found an empty bottle of Jack Daniels in the bathroom. So the day wasn't a complete wash. Also made plans for a friends birthday dinner at the Brazilian steakhouse Fago de Chao next week. Which has OH MY GOD food with OH MY F'KNG GOD prices to boot.

Been wanting this game since it's release but held off due to budget restraints but I was fumbling around gamestop.com this afternoon and saw a trade in deal I could not pass. 2 select trades and get nSMBWii for only$9.99. GameStop's trade program is shit and people get taken for a ride but I had to take advantage of this.

Once GhostHunters is over tonight, I plan on playing this shit till I pass out. Also want to get down on this multiplayer co-op action but I'm assuming you need friends for that.
