It began pleasantly enough that Saturday.

Has it's charm.

Then tides turned and flights were delayed, luggage was left for later flights, planes were diverted to other cities. Knew things wouldn't be jolly.

Hours later she arrived and things got...

My sister's visit was plagued by downright bad timing and the lack of....time.

Maybe the next sibling gathering will be on me. About time I return the favor. Oh yes, the dead of winter in Colorado sounds nice.

Then it was onward to a nephew's 1st birthday. Caught in some accident that shut down I-70. Hope everyone was ok, I just liked the fact I had to reverse the ride and drive the opposite way to go on the on-ramp to get off the highway. Rebel.

These kids have it too sweet. Goddamn thing has a freaking water cannon. WHAT?!?!

Back at the casa to watch my favorite JCTV program Virtual Memory. This channel also offers some sick music videos. It was some serious SOULfly shit...get it....huh...no....

I was trying to not get cable or satellite but after I received a cease and desist email from Road Runner I am seriously thinking of going back to U-verse. Had it at the old place. I'll have to talk to my lawyers about it though.

THE STUDY

I like to spin my SIN vinyl and drink fruit punch from a plastic wine glass. Then I stare into Charles' eyes and count back from 10.

Can't see it but I finally finished King's Under the Dome. I bought it back in November last year, then read half of it's 1000 pages by December. I let it collect dust until last Thursday. I finished it Saturday night. What a ride. Goddamn kid aliens. Oops, did I give it away.

An eighth grade student and apparent Marilyn Manson and AC/DC fan fired a shot but missed a teacher in a classroom before shooting himself in the head on Monday in Larose, La.

Fifteen-year-old Justin Doucet is in critical condition after undergoing surgery for a single gun shot wound to the head.

Investigators later found an apparent suicide note that included the line "U all will die" and indicated Doucet intended to kill other people.

Police say the student got the .25-calibre semi-automatic gun, which had four bullets in it, from his father's house on the weekend. The school has both standing and handheld metal detectors, but didn't use them on Monday.

A student who was in the classroom where the incident occurred said in an Associated Press article that Doucet, who was wearing an AC/DC Highway To Hell T-shirt and camouflage pants, entered and told everyone to get down. He then walked over to the teacher, pointed a gun at her and ordered her to say "Hail Marilyn Manson."

She said nothing and he attempted to fire the gun, which originally didn't go off. After adjusting it, he fired a bullet into a wall before he left the room and went to a restroom across the hall, where he shot himself.

Students told police that Doucet had a fascination with Manson and Adolf Hitler, but was acknowledged as both a nice and quiet person. Doucet had no disciplinary problems at the school, which has about 500 students and is located in a rural community of about 7,000 people about 70 kilometres southwest of New Orleans, and had never been in trouble with the law.

Manson was blamed for the 1999 Columbine High School massacre in which Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold shot and killed 12 students and a teacher and injured 21 others at their school in Littleton, Colo.

Manson, who prophetically said in a 2004 interview with CHARTattack that he "really couldn't care less about Soundscan anymore. I'm going for body count," was also blamed for another school shooting in 2007 when 14-year-old Asa Coon shot two students and two teachers before shooting himself. Coon was allegedly wearing a Manson shirt at the time and was said to have "worshipped" the shock rocker.
