Still on board. Me either, but I'll continue this anyways.
After such a thrilling time in LA it was time to hit the skies again for Sin City(or what I call it now, EMPTY YOUR BANK ACCOUNT CITY).
Flight was short and sweet. Filled to the core with older Asians. Didn't even get 5 pages into Michael Crichton's PREY before we were landing. God rest his soul. UNNECESSARY SIDE NOTE: The Andromeda Strain; Scary shit!!
All bets are off!
I arrive and start the waiting for Alicia to get in..about an hour.. I've been without an internet connection for 3days!! I immediately get out the PSP and scan for a hot spot. Signal strength good. =)
She arrives and we meet up. It felt so good to see her again. It had been since last November since she was in Kansas City. We figure out how to ride the NOT FREE shuttle to our hotel. This had to be the best part of the Vegas trip. Our hotel that is.

This place was right in the middle of it all. Surrounded by massive attractions such as Caesar's, Paris and the Bellagio.
I just had to have a picture of her with Bill.
We unpack and get ready to hit the streets.

We head out starved looking for a nice place to eat. Alicia's boyfriend had been to Vegas maybe two months before us and had told her of this excellent sushi restaurant with endless rolls kinda like the Olive Garden ; )
We are on the hunt.

By now we're both itching to start gambling.
Hitting my first slot. Disappointed that the majority of the slots in Vegas don't have an actual working lever.

After some fine gambling we headed back to the hotel to unwind a little before heading back out for some night time happenings. While walking on almost every corner there were obvious immigrants slapping stacks of little calling cards with hookers on them. It was pretty a awesome the first couple of passes but as the days went on they became fucking annoying.
Time to unwind.

The whole time we were there we were asked if we were newlyweds. They had value packs or something for them. We eventually started saying "yes" but then you had to be 27. Damn.

The second day we headed in the direction of the MGM and the Excalibur.
Lunch was great!
NEW YORK! NEW YORK! : We rode the coaster, which rocked! There was this bitch complaining at the ticket booth. What was that reason again Alicia?
At the time I thought this was the most diverse group of candy apples. That was until I went to that chocolate store in Seattle.

The night's entertainment was Keith Barry all the way from Ireland. We left mind-fucked.

The last day in Vegas was an odd one. We were worn out and ready to get back home. So we decided to hit up the depressing side of Vegas.
This had it going on, his soul duty for the day was to let people know the sidewalk was closed. We had to take the VEGAS metro....CALLED THE DEUCE!
Amazing landscaping.
This is what I need to see when I'm gambing, trapeze artists.
Vegas: 24 hrs of Food, Drugs and the occasional cocktail. Oh, and fresh fruit.
The night's entertainment. La Cage. This poster looks dated but it really is a well produced stage show. Highly recommended.
Well that was pretty much it. You know I was really expecting hookers to be everywhere and obvious. Not one did I see. Next time Vegas, next time.
Well we departed the next day back to Alicia's on different flights. I don't think she was expecting me. ;)

I spent the next couple of nights with her and her boyfriend. They were both really no I mean REALLY into the brand new expansion for World of Warcraft. Saw a movie, watched it snow...did A LOT of sleeping. Then left again for Kansas City.
Before I left she let me see that she still had this photo frame I gave her some years back. Brought a tear to my left eye. Maybe she'll make one of our trip together.
