Yay to the holidays...

A little mist in the morning to set the mood for my day.

From Drop Box
I knew today would be lame in terms of work load. Not complaining, just I'm use to having the store come to a stand still around noon once the the parade finishes and the families move on to the adult beverages and laughs in Westport. No salesmen or delivery people to chat with since, hell, parking is at a premium this day.

I must of had ten people open my door clearing marked 'employees only' thinking it was a stashed away bathroom before I got fed up with it and made this sign. A lot more families then in recent years coming out, which I found refreshing. Years past of flashers, vomiters, and public urinators will be missed but not soon forgotten. :( Maybe I just get off work earlier. Eh.

Well we did have a shoplifter get arrested and I found an empty bottle of Jack Daniels in the bathroom. So the day wasn't a complete wash. Also made plans for a friends birthday dinner at the Brazilian steakhouse Fago de Chao next week. Which has OH MY GOD food with OH MY F'KNG GOD prices to boot.

The Downers: Listening to KMBZ, heard about the murder of a 7-11 employee overnight which is right up the street from where I live. What possessed that person to shoot the cashier after the guy gives you
//sweet just got a tweet about DEG's first upload to youtube//
the fucking money. Bothered me all day thinking how stupid shit like this happens.
Later in the day too a co-worker was telling me he had just gotten word about the suicide of one of his closest friends. The guy took out his dogs as well. Man this world. Heavy.

Silly side note: Dir's new video hit the streets yesterday and I am still a little crept out by that brief moment with Toshiya's ate up calf/leg thingy.

[Way too much time on my hands]

Well, better get off to continue my pursuit for Zeus' head in God of War III.

Happy St. Patrick's day!

Cut the apple in two...

Saturday morning blues.

It seems I've turned this place into my personal food blog. Speaking of food, yesterday I was treated to some Wendy's. Everytime I eat there my heart feels like it is going to give out. I must have a death wish.

RIP: Charles Bronson

So yeah, back to food. Earlier in the week I decided to have some shrimp steamed for me but it's always a bitch to peel it when its all hot and sauced upped ready to go. So I went ahead and peeled it before it hit the steamer and to my surprise it's not an easy task to do when you got this guy staring at you the whole time.

Finish product was excellent though!

"Suicide in ailse 9, bring a mop."

The other morning I stumbled across these well put together advertisements advocating suicide awareness. These are pretty bad ass, better than that idiotic Christian rhetoric I sometimes find left on top of the urinal.

I found them all over the place, but the one place I loved finding them at was in the liquor department. One liquor salesman was furious and demanding they be removed for he claimed, the depressed population was his bread and butter. This guy's great.

$150 later, one more safer car on the road.

"Love is a fire." - M.M.

Had a new power steering pump and finally the starter which has been in my trunk for months put on today. Gave my father a break and had a mechanic do the job. I sure wasn't. Too prissy for such work. Thanks Jose the Mechanic. I wont raise your taxes!!

Went to a friend's show the other day and ran into a co-worker who was mugged two days before this. I put him on suicide watch after seeing him and made bets on his life when he didn't show up to work the next day. I lost though, apparently he had a seizure. Yeah right, Gary.
